sidewalk reading

on a recent afternoon i went out in the hopes of finding an unusual garment or two to add to my vintage collection and while leisurely inspecting an outside display of primarily used bathrobes in varying bright colors, this character right across the street caught my attention. his intention was to read up on the daily obituaries, but he repeatedly got distracted by some attractive and some less attractive women strolling by. i guess he did not find out who was left with an inheritance that day.

curb meeting

this character, an independent network design consultant, decided to take a little time for himself, perfectly content resting his sturdy behind on the hard curb surface, barely registering the traffic go by as he is thinking about building an effective technological infrastructure for the organization he is currently under contract with. good luck.

just arrived

i noticed this boy on my way to the train station, his suitcase stuffed with dirty socks and science books, waiting for his tardy uncle who is predictably late to pick him up at a nearby parking lot.

bus stop

strolling on a pedestrian overpass on a late afternoon i looked down and spotted a few characters waiting patiently for the bus, the blue man reflecting on his stale marriage, and the brown lady looking forward to have a sumptuous meal.

eastern european uniforms

i have a particular fondness for uniforms of any kind and couldn't resist painting these east european men dressed up in rich colors, enjoying a smoke on a cold day.
